Why Choose Korea

Teaching in Asia might be a very unique and comforting experience. The students are active and creative. You train students to think creatively, encourage good behavior in and out of the classroom, and build a cooperative and pleasant environment for learning.

Whether you’re an urbanite or a naturalist, you’ll appreciate South Korea’s unique blend of fast-paced cities and pristine country sides. Here you’ll find ancient palaces alongside angular skyscrapers, highlighting the country’s past and present.

There are tons of things to do and see so it up to you to come and experience it!

Safety in Korea

The crime rate in Korea is very low compared to the rest of the world. The Korean government prohibits people from owning guns, and it is very rare for a policeman to shoot a gun. You can freely go out everywhere anytime!

My experience in Korea has been great! The people have been very welcoming to me, and the public transportation system is very convenient! I love not having a car! I hope to stay in Korea another year, or go to China maybe!

Thanks again for everything. I received the updated contract, and I have sent it along with the other asked for documents in an email to Cindi. The two of you did an excellent job facilitating this. The process was very quick and smooth. I feel a lot better knowing that I have the two of you and Teach ESL supporting me. Again, thank you for your assistance. You have helped me a lot in achieving a huge personal goal.

I am doing very well. Thank you for asking. I am really enjoying my school. I have made a lot of new friends and have found my way around quite well in Uijeongbu. My co-teacher is wonderful and very helpful and I love my kids. I have been very busy getting everything settled, but I think that I am finally settled into my apartment and have figured out how to use the subway station, washing machine, and find my way to the market.

I want to thank you very much for giving me this opportunity and would love to stay in contact if I consider staying in Korea for a second year. If you need to contact me you can email me or call me at 010-xxxx-xxxx. I have also had my medical exam and have been cleared to obtain my Alien Registration Card.

Thanks,

Hi, TJ,

Korea has been great so far.  The orientation was really good.  I think it was very helpful for all the new teachers to have some training sessions before being thrown into the teaching world.  Not to mention they have curriculum with teacher’s guides and worksheets online.  They also gave us lots of time to explore the city and get to know one and another so I already have a few good friends across the country.

I really enjoy the Korean food and am meeting someone at a “famous” Jeju restaurant called Gimbap Heaven tonight so I am looking forward to that.  I will have to try the local black pig soon too.

My foreign co-teachers are really nice and helpful and I’m sure we will get along just fine despite the religious differences.  I’m really happy with the accommodations.  The director [and many of the other directors from what I have heard] made sure to get us all the basic supplies we needed in the kitchen and bedding department and mine said anything else I need he will buy for me.

Pretty top notch schools from what I have experienced so far

Hope all is well with you,

Justin

In the last month or so I have corresponded with a Mr Thomas Park who works with your company. He has been most helpful in helping to find me a teaching position in South Korea by communicating with both the school and myself regarding a teaching position. He outlined in detail all of the documents that I would require in order to gain an E-2 visa to work in Korea and he also sent me the tickets for the flight I was due to leave on from London Heathrow. He was constantly in contac with me over the course of over 1 month and I never had to wait any longer than 24 hours during this time to hear back from him regarding any email that I had sent. His answers to any questions were thorough and accurate and he was by far the best agent that I dealt with regarding work in Korea. I would hate to think that his good work should go unnoticed or unrewarded and therefore have decided to send you an email regarding his good work.

I am now in my second week of teaching at the Chin-Ju University of Education in Korea and am very happy here.

Thanks so much for organizing my pick up at the bus terminal. It was nice to meet everyone at the restaurant, the teachers here all seem really nice and helpful. I will defiently have to make my way around the town. The teacher I am replacing has been very helpful in that regard. Once I settled and everything I would love to meet up for a coffee, and thank you for the offer of help. I will be in touch!

Yes things have been very busy since I have arrived. Everything seems to be going well so far. The school director is very friendly and helpful and the classes are small which is nice. Thanks for your help and I will contact you again if I have any questions.
